Water Sports

Whether you are interested in a leisurely paddle on the river, whizzing by on a windsurfer, or swimming beneath the waves you will find exactly what you are looking for in this part of Brittany. You will find the Nautisme en Bretagne website a great source of information.

Kayaking

Within a few minutes drive of the house you will find several watersports centres which hire Kayaks as well as providing instruction and guided tours. There are several large rivers in the area which are ideal for exploring by kayak as well as many kilometres of beautiful coastline.

Swimming

The closest swimming pool to the house can be found at Treguier only 7km from the house, this is a basic pool.

If you travel slightly further inland to Beggard you will find Armoripark, here you will find an excellent swimming pool with water slides. At Armoripark you will also find toboggan runs & playparks, this is a fantastic day out for your children.

Scuba Diving

There is a PADI certified diving centre at Perros Guirec where for qualified divers can hire equipment and novices can take courses with qualified instructors.

Golf

There is a golf course at Beggard, this is a well-established 9-hole course and is open to all players, regardless of their handicap. Equipment hire is available just in case you have left you own at home.

There is also a very nice 18-hole link course at Pleumeur-Bodou, set in 57 hectares of pine forest overlooking the pink granite coast.

Horse Riding

There is a horse riding centre only 5km from the house at Pomerit-Jaudy, you can often see people riding through the center of the village.

Fishing

There are two fishing lakes in the village which are only a short walk from the house, the river Jaudy is also only a short walk away and provides excellent fishing. Permits must be obtained from the Marie to fish either the lakes or the rivers above the weir, no permit is required to fish the river downstream of the weir but this stretch of water is tidal and may not be suitable for fishing at certain times of the day.
